A TEENAGE boy was left with serious injuries after falling from the multi-storey car park at Barons Quay.

Emergency services were called around 11am on Friday, October 19, to reports of an injured 16-year-old boy, with shops also briefly closing their doors.

A small police cordon was put in place through to the early afternoon, after the boy's next of kin were informed.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "Shortly before 11am on Friday October 19, police were called to reports of a male having fallen from a multi-storey car park in the Barons Quay area of Northwich.

"Police and paramedics attended the scene and the male was taken to the Royal Salford Hospital by land ambulance.

"As a result of the incident a small police cordon was in place in the Barons Square area."

The boy was in a 'serious but stable' condition in hospital on Friday evening.

A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 10.58am to Leicester Street, Northwich.

"A male in his teens was taken to hospital with major trauma injuries by road ambulance.
