A WOMAN in her 80s was trapped in a car after a crash with a lorry.
The collision happened on Mobberley Road in Knutsford shortly after 4.30pm yesterday, Monday.
Crews say the woman was 'medically trapped' in the car.
Firefighters freed the casualty using specialist rescue equipment and handed her to the care of paramedics.
Thankfully, she was not seriously injured.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “Officers attended and found the incident involved a silver Ford Fiesta which had collided with a stationary HGV.”
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service said: “A woman in her 80s was taken to hospital with minor injuries.”
The road was blocked whilst emergency services dealt with the incident.
Firefighters from Lymm and Wilmslow were at the scene for almost an hour.
