“Well done to all the children for asking some great questions and showing wonderful manners throughout the visit.”

Kath Wakes, manager of Poppies Day Nursery, said: “We were so pleased to welcome PCSO Amy Mair and PCSO Caitlin Clark to Poppies.

“Trying on Police uniform, sitting in the Police car and learning about the Police first hand from these inspiring officers was a very exciting, memorable learning experience for the children.

“Developing strong connections with our Knutsford community with experiences such as this and regularly being out at the Heath, in Tatton Park and around the town centre, enhances the children's sense of belonging, and inspires their curiosity to learn.”
