HIGH-SPIRITED fundraisers completed a marathon dressed as a toothbrush and toothpaste to support a local charity.
Volunteers sported Bare Necessities T-shirts to take part in the Wilmslow Running Festival.
The event raised vital funds for the Wilmslow-based toiletry bank that provides toiletry and hygiene products for youth groups, schools, mum and baby groups, foodbanks and the street homeless.

Altogether 13 runners tackled a half marathon whilst 23 took part in a 10k.
Trustee Ben Lambert, who dressed up as a toothbrush to run the half marathon, said: “We’re a fantastic charity and I’m happy to have had two hours of pain, all in a great cause.
“It wasn’t easy with a toothbrush on your head but totally worth it.”
Lisa Russet, of Wilmslow’s Way Better, said: I had a great time running in the Wilmslow Running festival.
“Not only was the event really well organised so was the Bare Necessities race team.
“The passion in everything they do really shows from the race shirts, pre-race meet and after race event at Suburban Green.
“I’m thrilled to have passed my sponsorship goal as I know it will make a difference for such a worthy cause.”
