A HAIR salon is celebrating after being hailed the crème de la crème in the North West.

Saks Knutsford has won Best Hair Team at The English Hair and Beauty Awards 2025, Chapter 1.

The Minshull Street salon was up against fierce competition but received recognition from the judges and took the trophy home.

The results were announced at a ceremony at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester.

Salon manager Paula Wood said: “This past year more than ever we have worked as an amazing team so credit to them all.

“Missing from the awards was Emma Smith who has young children and Lily Halliwell who was away for her birthday.

“Also we can't forget Alexa Hill, our apprentice, who is a valuable team member.

Creative Oceanic powered by Oceanic Awards launched this event 12 years ago.

The awards are separated into different chapters and showcase the best stylists and salons from across England who represent excellence in the hair and beauty industry.

Chapter 1 awards recognise talent and flair from the North West of England.
