SPEEDING on a road in Cornwall has landed a Knutsford driver with a £500 court bill.
Thomas Wilkowski, of Heathfield Square, pleaded guilty at Cornwall Magistrates’ Court to exceeding a 30mph speed limit when the case was heard on March 28.
The 34-year-old was caught on camera speeding on the A39 at Perranarworthal, between Falmouth and Truro, on August 9, last year.
Wilkowski was fined £292 and ordered to pay £90 fine and £116 victim surcharge.
His driving licence was endorsed with three points.
Magistrates took his guilty plea into account when imposing the sentence.
The defendant was given until April 25 to pay the £498 court penalty.
