A WILMSLOW optician has been recognised for providing one of the best customer experiences in the area.
Albert Road Opticians beat competition from more than 130 other firms to scoop the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) award for best customer service in Greater Manchester and north Cheshire.
The company, which claims to provide "a personal service, expert advice and fine eyewear" was presented with the award at a ceremony in Manchester’s Hilton Deansgate on Wednesday, November 9.
Deepak Oberai, director of Albert Road Opticians, dedicated the award to his team for their work in maintaining the firm’s high standards.
“It just goes to show what the team can achieve when they are focused,” he said.
To celebrate their success, the Albert Road Opticians team are hosting an evening of theatre on Friday, December 2.
The company has hired out The Green Room, in Chapel Lane, for a performance of the Alan Ayckbourne comedy Life and Beth.
