MARILYN Lloyd, chairman, welcomed members and visitors and congratulated Goostrey Flower Club members who had entered the Cheshire Show.
She reminded everyone orders are being taken for NAFAS diaries, calendars and Christmas cards.
Seats are still available on the coach to Blackpool on November 13 for the national competitions. There is a summer lunch in a member's garden on August 13.
Arthur McDonald from Edenfield, near Bury, kept members entertained with his demonstration Let Joy Be Undefined.
Arthur was a member of the team who won a gold for the north west area of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies last year at the RHS Tatton Show.
The vote of thanks was given by Ann Turnock and the foyer flowers were by June Sulej.
The next meeting is on September 10 when Lorena Dyer will give her demonstration A Touch of Romance. There will be a members competition.
Meetings are held in Goostrey Village Hall at 2pm for 2.30pm.
